We are a North Carolina based Dental Support Organization guided by a leadership team passionate about supporting practices. We are a doctor-owned model and understand the realities of your day-to-day. We help your practice run efficiently, guiding the big-picture goals while you focus on your patients.
Mick Janness, CEO

Mick brings 15+ years of business leadership experience of multiple leading dental support organizations. His most recent engagement recognized 644% growth in under 3 years and was recognized on the Inc. 5000 fastest growing company list.

Mick once met the chairman of the New York Stock Exchange by accidentally being mistaken for a Secret Service Agent.

Erik Strang, CFO

Erik brings over 15 years of financial and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) experience including over six years of experience leading dental and physician services organizations. Previously as business development director for one of the largest dental service organizations in the U.S., Erik helped lead the affiliation of multiple transactions involving over 50 practice locations.

Erik is a huge sports fan and is currently in a competition with his friends to be the first to see all 30 Major League Baseball ballparks (he is two short of hitting 30 and becoming the winner!). He also once “caught” a home run ball that was hit by Prince Fielder – it bounced off the top off the outfield bullpen before he “caught” it.

Kelly Dye, Chief of Staff
Kelly is a hardworking dedicated professional with over 8 years’ experience in high profile retail business. She is an outstanding hands-on leader who motivates, trains, and provides guidance to teams to ensure consistent results well beyond expectations. Kelly is an organized self-motivator, strategic problem-solver with ability to work across all levels of an organization to partner with others. Excellent at planning, coordinating, focusing on details, taking initiative, and developing talent.

Kelly’s favorite hobbies consist of fly fishing for salmon, running outdoors with her dog, and traveling with her family. Kelly has traveled to 37/50 states and hopes to reach all 50 states one day!

Susanne Moyer, VP of Operations

Susanne comes to Oakpoint with years of analytical, business and management experience- 12 years focused specifically in the dental field.  With a “Patient’s first” motto, she delivers exceptional leadership and support to teams of office managers.  KPI could be her middle name as she thrives on directing strategic plans,  driving initiatives, and achieving results…all with a smile on her face.  

Susanne enjoys unique life experiences through travel.  Climbing the Sydney Bridge in Australia is one of her favorite adventures. 

Kirsten Corsaut, Controller

Kirsten comes to the team with seven years of public accounting experience, working almost exclusively with dentists and dental practices. Her dental accounting experience includes internal process development and implementation, advisory services, and financial reporting for group practices and dental service organizations.

 Outside of the office, you can typically find Kirsten tackling home update projects, honing in her amateur photography skills, or spending time with her fiancé and their adorable rescue pup.

Lauren Laseck, Director of People

Lauren will help provide direction, oversight and administration of the human resources functions for all Dental practices. After spending 5 years working in Talent Acquisition at one of the largest non-profit Healthcare System in Michigan, she knows the value of building a strong team, keeping employees engaged, and partnering with managers to provide support.

When not at work you can find Lauren spending quality time outside with her family enjoying all outdoor activities that Michigan has to offer.

Brittany Clark, Senior Accountant

Brittany comes to Oakpoint with eight years of accounting and operational experience. About two of those years were with a dental support organization where she assisted with the integration process, financial reporting, and human resource functions. Throughout her career in the accounting field, she has been known for taking initiative and having a keen eye for detail.

Brittany enjoys spending much of her free time with family and her fiancé. When she is not with her loved ones, she most likely is discovering new musical artists to listen to, trying out a new restaurant, or painting.

Eric Plante, Senior Accountant

Eric has over four years of accounting experience working in both public accounting and private industry. Previously working as a Controller in the construction industry, Eric has a strong background in improving internal processes as well as delivering timely and informative financial reporting.

Outside of work Eric enjoys exploring the outdoors with his wife, son, and dog. He is also an avid fan of Detroit and Michigan State sports and plays hockey weekly.

Rochelle Pray, Senior Accountant
Rochelle has an extensive accounting background that was founded in higher education. In the last few years, Rochelle has been able to further develop her accounting career in both privately owned business and large publicly traded companies. She has strong experience in revenue recognition and account reconciliation, and enjoys crunching numbers in Excel and digging in to solve puzzles. She knows that building solid relationships is key to providing the best possible service to business partners.

When she is not working, Rochelle really enjoys performing on stage and has been active in community theater for over thirty years. Other favorite activities include traveling, board games, word puzzles and sudoku, reading, listening to podcasts, and hanging out at home with her husband, five kitties and bunny.

Hannah Matthews, Recruiting & Onboarding Coordinator

Hannah comes from the pharmaceutical industry bringing several years of Human Resources experience. Over the years, she has become skilled in recruitment, onboarding, and implementing company policies. Hannah knows the importance of communication, transparency, and being personable.

Outside of work Hannah enjoys spending time with friends and family, eating at new restaurants, and being outside.

Alex Zanetti, Director of Development
Alex joins the Oakpoint team to assist in the management of all aspects of new business development. As part of that process, he meets with potential doctors, performs pre-LOI analysis, navigates the deal process, and executes successful closings. Alex knows the deal process well, with previous positions in FinTech M&A and valuation for a national advisory firm.

When not in the office, Alex enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, watching sports, and playing the occasional round of golf.

Dayna Coon, Human Resource Manager
Dayna comes to Oakpoint with over ten years’ experience in Human Resources from multiple different industries. Dayna excels in utilizing resources and talent through HR and benefits program management, HR analysis, projects, HRIS technologies, process improvements, and compliance. Dayna thrives in environments that know the value of communication, sharing new ideas, and teamwork.

Outside of work Dayna enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys outdoor activities, traveling, and experiencing any new adventures that will be fun or interesting.

Michaela Burgess, Credentialing Lead
Michaela has been in the Dentistry field for 2 years. She attended NCdentalU in 2019 and became a DA1. Although she received the certification for dental assisting, she decided to take her first dentistry job on the business side. Over the years she has become skilled in many different aspects of dentistry from stepping into an insurance coordinator role, up to a billing specialist and now onto credentialing. Michaela understands the importance of details, processes, and organization.

Outside of work Michaela enjoys spending her free time with her partner, their three dogs, and chameleon. When she’s not spending time with them she loves going to Marshalls to shop, visit family/friends, and try new restaurants.

Cassidy Jeffery, Marketing Coordinator
Cassidy will assist with the development, execution, and monitoring of marketing efforts for all the practices. After spending 4 years as a treatment coordinator in orthodontics, she understands the importance of marketing plans and the value of advertising that drives new patient leads to the office. Cassidy strives to learn new things and to always be a positive team member. Outside of work, you can find Cassidy traveling and enjoying outdoor activities such as riding horses, snowboarding, and spending time at the lake.
Kelly Kakkuri, Sr. Doctor Recruiter

Kelly leads all Doctor recruiting efforts, aligning top talent and organizational strategies. Kelly ensures authenticity and transparency are at the heart of all aspects of her work. Kelly comes to Oakpoint with a combined 10+ years of dental sales & recruitment experience. Her mission is to always lead by example and provide an exceptional candidate experience.

Kelly enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling with her husband and their 4 kids, running/training for races, discovering new restaurants and breweries, hiking, fishing and being on the water.

Kim Wolozyn, Director of Marketing

Kim oversees the promotion and advertising efforts to generate new patient leads and build brand awareness for all practices. With a combined experience of 18 years in sales and marketing in the dental industry, she excels at creating marketing plans and measuring the return on investment of various methods.

Outside of work, you will find Kim spending time with her family who enjoys outdoor activities and travel.

Heather Ferow, Payroll Specialist

Heather oversees the payroll process for all of our dental offices and works with them to ensure an accurate and timely payroll. She joined the Oakpoint team with over five years of Human Resources experience in the hotel management and senior living industries. She enjoys working with her team to deliver the best employee experiences.

Heather enjoys spending time with her two rescue dogs, wine tasting with friends or planning her next trip.

Karla-Marie Santiago, Director of Operations

Karla brings over 10 years of experience in healthcare, education, and non-profit including experience leading practice management system implementations, procurement platforms and supply management. In her role as executive director and director of operations for Local Start Dental and UNC Adams School of Dentistry, Karla has been a leader in digital transformation and focused her strengths on execution and collaborative ownership of strategic initiatives to drive organizational change and industry compliance.

In her free time, Karla enjoys home decorating, crafting, and spending time with her husband and daughter. She loves the beach, traveling and looks forward to weekly family dinners with tasty Puerto Rican dishes cooked in her mom’s “cocina”.

Landis Quinn, Accounting Assistant
Landis comes to Oakpoint with over 8 years’ experience in general dentistry. Self-driven and attention to detail, she transitioned from being a patient care coordinator for 3 year to accounts payable and credentialing for the remaining 5 years. She loves working with her team to complete all accounting tasks in a precise and timely manner.

Outside of work Landis enjoys spending time with her wonderful husband, loving on her 2 little dogs, going to the beach, and spending time with family and friends.
